We are confident that you will find Patco https://www.patcocommercial.com a trustworthy guide on your building project. I have been around the construction trade most of my life, from basic carpentry in high school to being a heavy equipment mechanic in the US Army. I acquired my Degree in Technical Graphic & Design and have worked with construction companies since. I enjoy walking around jobsites and watching all project phases from beginning to completion. When not working, I enjoy motorcycle rides with my wife, spending time with my family & working with my hands in my garage or in the yard.

Their project managers oversee timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and quality control, providing clients with peace of mind throughout the process. At 32 years old, Spurling is a young entrepreneur and this was his first commercial construction project. PATCO mapped out the whole process for Spurling and walked him through it in a way that was not overwhelming, but educational. For example, when a heating system emergency arose on a Friday night and Spurling sent an email at 10pm, he received a timely and caring response from Dennis within minutes. Some days I’m in the office, some days get to go out into the field and take a look at the construction sites. When I started in May 2021, I worked on the steel crew for the first few months.

It all began in 1985, when Irving Patterson invited his son Mark to come work with him at what was then a small residential construction company. Son Greg joined a few years later as a third partner and helped the company expand into commercial construction. Over the years, the Patterson family has always focused on doing the right thing and putting the customer first, an approach that has earned them loyal customers and helped their company grow. A Sanford native, Irving never could have envisioned that his small family-run business would become a pillar of the Sanford business community and a leader in Maine and New Hampshire’s construction industry. However, when the values of teamwork and integrity are a part of your foundation, it’s easy to see how PATCO Construction has been serving Maine and New Hampshire for over 35 years.

Owner Steve Morin explains, “We wanted to make sure we were set up for the changes in the industry. He had heard of PATCO Construction and reached out to local businesses who had worked with them to hear about their experience. Satisfied with the responses, Morin called the PATCO office. The main goal of the project was to create a safe and functioning propane fueling station for MSAD’s fleet of buses. The end result was a site with a propane tank and pump dispenser on an island for easy bus fueling and a 3,200 square foot warehouse with a 12×12 overhead door for storage.

As a kid he played baseball and basketball, and “got his start in construction” playing with Tonka toy trucks and Lincoln Logs. Now, as part of the steel crew for the past year and a half, he gets to work alongside his brother Tony putting up buildings for PATCO Commercial. Our relationship with our clients doesn’t end when the project is built and we turn over the space. The PATCO team is committed to ensuring that our clients are satisfied with the final product and supported as they occupy the building.

It was after they removed the gravel that they discovered another problem – a stump dump full, or buried wood debris and tree stumps. This was a big deal and required a change order as well as  expensive mitigation. Through it all, Weir was impressed with how the PATCO team communicated and handled the unforeseen issues. “They were very upfront in their communication and didn’t hide in the numbers,” shares Weir, appreciative of PATCO’s transparency and problem solving. Once the stump dump was cleared, the project was able to move forward as planned. We would like to thank Varco Pruden for being a loyal business partner, our clients and hard- working employees.
